Service: Flooding Process/Rehabilitation of Pipelines
Regardless of whether it is used for municipal, commercial or private purposes - according to the Water Resources Act, every owner of a building is obliged to operate a tight sewer system that ensures that waste water can safely be fed into the public sewer system. A leaky sewer network harbors great ecological and economic risks and dangers.
But what if it is partly inaccessible or ageometrically complex pipe network?
Here Peter Spieleder GmbH uses the trenchless method of flooding technology, which has been known for a long time. The environmentally friendly system works in two steps, in which two components of a silicate gel are introduced into the defective pipe system one after the other. In the first step, the liquid escapes at the damaged area, solidifies there after the second component has been introduced and seals the pipe with a waterproof packing. Peter Spieleder GmbH has been working successfully with the flooding process from Silago® GmbH for years. Every Silago® flooding ends with a leak test in accordance with DIN EN 1610.
Advantages of the procedure:
- Economical, as there is little time and construction site effort
- Can also be used with inaccessible or geometrically complex pipe networks
- Sewer rehabilitation without building pits and civil engineering work
- Environmentally friendly system with DIBT approval
